使用在线购物付款时,除了需要自己一码一码的键入自己的信用卡信息外,出门在外使用笔电时还要担心周遭的偷窥眼神。但在 IntelMasterCard 的合作下,这样的窘境都将成为过去,以后在进行在线下单购买时,将可使用 Ultrabook 配合拥有 PayPass 技术的信用卡、感应标签(Tag)或是智能型手机进行在线付款,宣称将带来「更安全」且「更简单」的使用者体验。由 Intel 所提供的加密验证技术,将可提供更精密的双重认证及以硬件为技术基础的显示保护。您只需要将具备 NFC 技术的智能型手机或其它具 PayPass 认证的装置靠近感应 Ultrabook,即可产生一组六位数的编码内容,在经由第三方的编码加密运算后,即可将交易内容传送至电子商务网站并完成交易。此技术期望可以带给消费者比一般软件加密更安全的解决方案。使用此功能将需要拥有一台具 NFC 技术的装置、Ultrabook 还有用户帐密才能使用,所以也因此可望减低被盗用的相关问题(不过自己半夜心血来潮「哔!」下去的费用倒是没办法防止 XD)。引用来源可以看到新闻稿内容。
